IMT - Municipal Property Transfer Tax
\nO IMT incide sobre o valor de transa\u00e7\u00e3o da aliena\u00e7\u00e3o, ou seja, sobre o valor da escritura. Este varia consoante a finalidade da habita\u00e7\u00e3o (Habita\u00e7\u00e3o Pr\u00f3pria Permanente ou Secund\u00e1ria e arrendamento) e localiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Im\u00f3vel (Portugal Continental ou Regi\u00f5es Aut\u00f3nomas). De acordo com a Autoridade Tribut\u00e1ria esse valor depende de uma tabela atualizada periodicamente.<\/p>\n

Stamp Tax
\nIf you take out a loan, you can expect double taxation (on the deed and on the loan from the bank). The applicable rate is 0.8% on the transaction value plus a percentage considering the financing value:<\/p>\n

0,04% for terms shorter than 1 year;
\n0.5% for terms between 1 and 5 years;
\n0.6% for maturities over 5 years
\nAnd also for all fees associated with the loan, 4% (e.g. appraisal fee, study fee, installment processing fee, etc...)<\/p>\n
